SCIE 30613 - Pre-Health Prof Development

Prerequisites: BIOL 30603 and CHEM 30123. This course will introduce students to the concept of professionalism within a healthcare context and the core competencies that future healthcare providers should possess. Students will reflect on how their work, activities and life experiences have prepared them for a career in healthcare. Additionally, students will develop written and verbal communication skills applicable to health professions and the professional school application process.
